Please share in the comments below if you’ve purchased any of these new products and what you think of them. Hopefully my review was helpful to you in some way! I hate to not love products and have negative things to say, but I wanted to share my thoughts since this is a hot product on the market right now. So, this was kind of a mixed review for me. The foundation also came with a sample selection of other shades in their range, which I thought was really cool, so I swatched them as well. 822E – Neutral Buff Nude Ivory (w/flash) Without Flash Does it do its job at a very affordable price? Yes. I only used it with the WnW Photo Focus Foundation, so I can’t speak to how it would work with other foundations. ![]() It’s very silky to the touch and blends in, but I found it kind of powdery and a bit cakey. There are 8 shades in the range and it retails for $4.99 (0.26 oz). The Photo Focus Pressed Powder is said to have light-diffusing pigments to give your skin a flawless, soft and satiny finish. It just unfortunately isn’t suited for my skin type. It’s super affordable and the shade range is amazing! I’ve read a ton of good reviews too, so obviously it’s working for other people. There are a few PROS to this foundation though and let me say just because I didn’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s bad or that it won’t work for you. The applicator isn’t the best either, it’s just a stick with a paddle, which becomes a drippy mess and very impractical to use. Nothing worked! It dries very quickly, almost too quickly, and you have to work in small sections or the foundation won’t blend smoothly. I used a beauty blender, flat-top kabuki, with and without primers, and I even mixed in a drop of oil to see if I could change the consistency. ![]() I really wanted to make this foundation work – I tried wearing it a ton of different ways and I could never find the best application. I didn’t find it very buildable either, it started to look really cakey after an additional layer on me. The coverage is medium( ish) and the finish is matte. It never really set either, remaining tacky even after setting with the pressed powder. It settled into my fine lines and cracked around my mouth when I smiled ( not cute!). It seemed to tingle ( that’s the best way I can describe it) which wasn’t pleasant and I wanted to take it off almost immediately each time. I found it to be a bit irritating on my skin. Sadly this foundation did not work for me. They offer a massive range of 20 shades ( which is rare for drugstore foundations) and it retails for $5.99 (1.0 fl oz). ![]() The Photo Focus Foundation is said to be high-performing, skin-perfecting, been tested under multiple light conditions, and has a light-adjusting complex to help prevent white cast in photos. Of course I needed to try them out for myself, so I picked up their new Photo Focus Foundation and Pressed Powder to review. Wet n Wild has released several new products already this year, creating quite a buzz in the beauty community.
